Oren Kohen is the founding partner at Oak Law Group, APC. He is a dedicated California Employment lawyer whose practice is built on a foundation of extensive experience and a profound commitment to client success.
With a degree in law from a prestigious Law College and having successfully passed the California Bar Exam, Oren began his legal career at two distinguished California law firms, where he immersed himself in the complexities of employment law.
His focus was sharp: guiding clients through both pre-litigation and litigation phases, and always striving for early resolutions that served their best interests. It was during this time that he honed his skills as a negotiator, successfully settling hundreds of cases and consistently ensuring client satisfaction.
Oren discovered a profound passion for helping individuals navigate the challenging transition from unemployment to new opportunities, providing not just legal representation but also a path to stability through favorable settlements. This realization solidified his commitment to empowering clients during their most vulnerable times.
That deep-seated passion, combined with Oren's extensive experience and proven track record in securing meaningful outcomes, ultimately inspired him to establish Oak Law Group. The goal was clear: to create a firm dedicated solely to employment matters, where every client receives personalized advocacy and strategic guidance to get back on their feet and move forward with confidence.
Today, witnessing Oak Law Group rise and establish itself gives Oren a vision to expand his services and nurture employee-safe environments where workplaces are safe, free from injustice, and backed by legal support to stand for their rights.

Armig Khodanian, Esq.
Armig Khodanian is a seasoned employment and consumer protection attorney dedicated to representing employees and consumers against corporate misconduct. She brings a rare, strategic perspective to her practice, shaped by years of experience on both the plaintiff and defense sides of complex litigation.
Armig previously practiced in the Los Angeles office of a national law firm, where she focused on labor and employment law, defending corporate employers in both single-plaintiff and class action litigation. She regularly represented Fortune 500 companies and other corporate entities in high stakes matters, including wage and hour class actions, sexual harassment, and racial discrimination claims. This experience gave her a deep understanding of how employers assess exposure, evaluate claims, and structure litigation strategy—insight she now leverages to advocate effectively for employees and consumers.
Armig later served as Managing Partner at a mid-size plaintiffs’ law firm, where she supervised a team of attorneys and staff in successfully litigating consumer protection cases against all major automotive manufacturers. In this role, she also launched and led the firm’s employment law department, expanding its practice to advocate for employees facing workplace violations.
Although Armig gained a strategic advantage working on the defense side and seeing firsthand what employers look for when evaluating and defending cases, she is a plaintiff’s attorney at heart. That conviction is what ultimately drew her back to the plaintiff’s side, where she now represents employees and consumers—holding corporations accountable and advocating for individuals whose rights have been violated.
Armig began her legal career representing consumers in warranty liability claims against automobile manufacturers and remains deeply committed to protecting individuals from corporate misconduct.
She earned her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she graduated in the top 15% of her class and received the 2012 Law Merit Scholarship and 2012 Student Leader Scholarship.
